1. Reception of the barrel
The standard model of Integrale barrel comes equipped with a hatch closed by a stainless steel plug.

2. Loading grapes in the barrel
Remove the hatch plug and install the stainless steel funnel attachment. Check visually for vertical alignment. Secure the funnel attachment by tightening the threaded ring clockwise.

3. Rotational Punching
When the desired level of grapes is reached, a paddle attachment can be installed to help break the cap. There are two different models of paddle attachments: the first model simply helps homogenize the barrel contents; the second one does the same thing but also allows to drain the wine when the barrel is bung down.

4. Racking and Emptying the barrel
Racking the wine can be done through the tap or through the draining paddle when the bung is down. After the must is well drained, it comes out easily through the hatch, with the help of a stainless steel scraper. Rotating the barrel back and forth will help center the must for easy extraction.
